Sharmeen Looi, COO of ShopBack Malaysia, the top Cashback platform in Malaysia, showcases the Android version of ShopBack mobile appShopBack Malaysia, the well-known Cashback platform in the country announces that its mobile app will be ready for Malaysian shoppers to download at iOS App Store and Google Play Store, starting from 19 July 2016. It has been quite a while since I have waited for this app to be launched. ShopBack saves me a lot of money when I shop online usually on Lazada. The trick is pretty simple, you sign up for the ShopBack account, which back then was only via the website and now you can go ahead and sign up with the mobile app itself.

Next choose your preferred e-retailers, which in my case was Lazada. It will then re-direct to Lazada’s website via the “browser” built in the ShopBack app itself.  There’s also an option which redirects to Lazada app as well, but it is still not clickable and I believe it is a feature which is not finalized yet. I have tried shopping on Tesco online and ShopBack app worked flawlessly.

In conjunction with the release of ShopBack mobile app, the Cashback platform will reward every shopper with an extra RM5 when they make a purchase at any of the 500 over partner stores via its app from 19-21 July 2016. In addition, 11 e-retailers such as Agoda, Foodpanda, Groupon, Hermo, Lazada, Qoo10, Zalora, etc will also join the celebration by giving away upsized Cashback, RM10 low price deals, RM5-RM20 off vouchers, as well as 40% discount promo codes.

ShopBack Malaysia maintains a healthy 20% average month-on-month traffic growth in the first half of 2016, which reflects a steady increase in popularity of Cashback among local shoppers.

Other than Malaysia, ShopBack also has a presence in India, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore. It is not only the No.1 Cashback platform in Malaysia but also in the Southeast Asia region, delivering at least six orders for its partner stores every minute.
