Earlier via Twitter, Eldar Murazin a reliable source of leaks who previously nailed its information exactly with what happened in the final product for the Samsung Galaxy S4, has now stated that the all new Samsung Galaxy S5 will be officially unveiled during the MWC 2014 event which will take place in Barcelona on February 23rd, which some of the loyal Samsung S series users would be anxiously anticipating filled with excitement to know the final product especially what it offers on the outside, which means how would it actually look like, will the artificial leather back which is featured on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 remain on the S5?
Based on the tweet, you can see he mentioned that the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 would be the same as we I assume it would be same as the Samsung Galaxy S4, which was price at RM2499 for the LTE version and RM2199 for the octa-core version here in Malaysia. The specification of the phone have been gathered around from certain rumors and sources which came into conclusion that the Samsung Galaxy S5 would feature a QHD 2k display expected to be protected with the all new Corning Gorilla Glass 3, possible upgraded version of the existing Exynos octa-core processor and Snapdragon 805 64bit processor as the device will come with both LTE and HSDPA+ variants. The smartphone could even feature a 16MP camera with a possibility of OIS to be included as well, and a better battery capacity of 2900 mAh.
Last but not least, it would also feature a much later version of Touchwiz interface which could prove to work flawlessly as the Samsung Galaxy S5 would come out of box with the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, I would just wish this version of Touchwiz to go through a complete make over including a much exciting and reliable User Interface. Do take note that based on the tweet, the smartphone itself would be only made available to certain countries by end of April, which means once it is officially announced, after two months only we can actually get the chance to purchase and own this powerful beast. Usually in Malaysia, it wouldn’t take too long to reach to our market here as most Samsung devices gets released quite soon once it is made available probably due to high demand of their products here.
What would you expect the Samsung Galaxy S5 to feature in addition to what we have collected so far? I am also excited if they decided to actually introduce the iris scanner instead of the finger print scanner which is already a common feature in certain devices.
