Google introduced Chromebook not long ago which runs on Chrome OS which entered market in early 2013 with the debut of Samsung, followed by Acer,Hewlett Packard, Lenovo, and Google itself. Now, Dell joined the family with their edition of Chromebook. It has 11” screen with a resolution of 1366×768 , powered by Intel Celeron 2955U processor, i would say an ideal choice due to its well known power management which saves alot of juice, it has built in 16GB flash storage.
RAM wise, you can choose if you want a 2GB version or a 4GB version , a 720p webcam for video calls, with two ports for USB 3.0, single HDMI port, with Bluetooth version 4.0. Is Chromebook value for money compared to regular laptops/netbooks or maybe it’s more ‘student friendly’ with affordable price tag. Which one is your choice? I wonder if this would be in Malaysian market as this is estimated to be available around January 2014 below the price tag of $300 in the US and UK. More info at Dell’s Chromebook page.
