The Raise of s̶k̶y̶n̶e̶t̶ Robot Automation
Yesterday we were invited to an unexpected event, a sharing section by the Danish robotic automation juggernaut Universal Robots. They come to announce the expansion of its distribution network now to Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Penang.

Since it’s entry to Malaysia market in 2013, their technology of robotic automatic collaborative robots (cobots), has been widely deployed by the electronics, automotive, metal, medical, pharmaceutical, plastic & polymers and other consumer products. The Danish s̶k̶y̶n̶e̶t̶ robotic automation recognises Malaysia as a major market and thus doubled their distribution network.
The Cobot UR3 here demonstrate how it performance programmed routine work.

While we have experienced growth across the region, Malaysia has seen significant growth due to the diversity of the country’s industries. This means there is a wide spectrum of potential applications of Universal Robots cobots across different sectors.

The Cobot can be program into many form of task such a passing a flash drive into visitor’s hand.
So how is this relate to you? honestly speaking at first I fail to see why we the consumer media were invited for an industrial event. But upon discussion with the nice people from Universal Robots, we understand that robot automation in the industrial field will deeply impact us consumer on the technology of product, time to produce, personal customization, and most importantly, cost.
