Wiko Ufeel Lite Hands On Review

The Wiko Ufeel Lite is one of the latest smartphone from Wiko Malaysia. Its been sometime since the introduction of this phone and here I am talking about in a very general manner. It is a very decent smartphone and probably penny worth based on my usage and requirements.

What’s in the box?

For me, a decent budget smartphone should have no less than 2GB of RAM in order to perform at a respectable level. If you want a smartphone which will not let you down especially when you’re about to answer an imporant call or even replying an important email, this is a must.

The Wiko Ufeel Lite has  a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720. Under the hood, it is powered by Mediatek MT6735 Quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. As mentioned, the Wiko Ufeel Lite is packed with 2GB of RAM while the storage compartment, there’s 16GB paired with micro SD card slot which supports up to 64GB.

Moving to the software version, it comes out of the box running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This is very important as it shows how much a particular smartphone manufacturer prioritizes the importance of having the latest software and how it benefits the consumers. As I have mentioned on my review of the Wiko Lenny 2 and Wiko Fever, there’s minimal of customization done by Wiko towards the already available stock Android. Therefore, the experience will be more towards the stock Android feeling with a slight touch of Wiko’s skin on.

In terms of Camera, the main camera of Wiko Ufeel Lite comes with 8MP that is capable of shooting at f2.0 aperture and paired with a LED Flash. In terms of the selfie camera, it comes with 5MP and surprisingly packed with a decent selfie flash. This is a plus point where the selfies will still look good even in low-light condition.

The Wiko Ufeel Lite is a smartphone that supports dual SIM functionality. Both of them are micro SIMs and they do support 4G LTE connectivity. Another plus point of having this smartphone will it be its fast fingerprint scanner on the front home button. It works flawlessly and surprisingly faster than some other fingerprint scanners that I have tested on other smartphone.

Last but not least, is the battery capacity of this smartphone. It comes with 2500mAh non-removable battery and it could last up to a day of average usage pattern. I feel the size is compact, the design looks classy and in conclusion a very well balanced smartphone package from Wiko. At first I didn’t even know that the back cover is removable as it looks like a aluminium body finish.

The best part of all the goodies above is the price tag. The Wiko Ufeel Lite is only priced at RM569 inclusive of GST. This is considerably good price and affordable yet reliable performance as a daily driver. There’s not much smartphones that are priced at this particular price range and this is the plus point for Wiko Ufeel Lite being my recommended budget and reliable smartphone.
