The OPPO F1s have officially landed in our home land, Malaysia with the price set at RM1198 inclusive of GST. Based on this phone’s specification, we define it as a special product and one of its kind. Some of the features can be only found by OPPO and they seem to be the first to have such defined smartphone.
Anyways, the OPPO F1s has a 16MP front facing camera while the main camera is at 13MP. Next, this is the first phone I have encountered which comes with Triple SIM tray. This allows you to insert two Nano SIMs and the microSD card as well. The fingerprint reader isn’t just as fast as 0.22seconds but it support app assignation to every single fingerprint that you can assign with up to 5 apps.
OPPO F1s comes with 5.5-inch 720p HD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, there 32GB of internal storage paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone runs on Color OS 3.0 out of the box with Android 5.1 Lollipop. Apart from that, the processor is powered by Mediatek’s MT6750 octa-core chip clocked at 1.5GHz.
As mentioned, the front facing camera is 16MP with f2.0 aperture and comes with 1/3.1-inch sensor size. The main camera which is 13MP comes with f2.2 aperture and supports PDAF. The well known OPPO’s Beautify which now is version 4.0 works flawlessly on both cameras.
Lastly, the OPPO F1s supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby and Dual 4G LTE. The battery capacity is set at 3075mAh which OPPO claimed could last you the entire day although it does not come with any fast charging capabilities such as the VOOC charging.
