The wait for the latest flagship which most Malaysians love the branding “OnePlus” a lot, the OnePlus 3 is now official. The best part of this launch is that there’s no such thing as invite system for you to get this phone. Clearly to say, in upcoming weeks, my assumption will be Brightstar Malaysia and Maxis will bring the OnePlus 3 officially to Malaysia.
This smartphone comes with the Snapdragon 820 processor with the GPU powered by Adreno 530. The AMOLED display is set at 5.5-inch and the resolution will be Full HD which is protected with Gorilla Glass 4. With a massive 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, there’s no doubt this is going to be a hot product once its made available. Unfortunately, there won’t be micro SD card slot this time.
Other than that, there’s 3000mAh non-removable battery with “Dash Charge” enabled. This simply means there’s support for quick charge with 4W charger that comes in the box alongside USB Type-C cable. There’s no gimmicky stuff this time as the camera itself is pretty basic with f2.0 16MP main camera with OIS and the selfie camera is set at 8MP. Other notable features such as the fingerprint sensor works extremely fast and probably one of the fastest ever made available till date. The body of OnePlus 3 is made out of anodized aluminium which looks identical to the HTC M8/M9 series due to its visible antenna on the back.
Lastly, features such as Bluetooth,NFC, WiFi and 4G LTE is available with up to CAT 6. The Oxygen OS on this smartphone is pretty snappy and definitely the closest to the stock Android experience based on some videos that I saw. The OnePlus 3 is priced at $399 (RM16xx) and be very patient as it is definitely coming to Malaysia very soon.
Do you think this phone will be able to continue known as a flagship killer? I will certainly get this beast, what about you?
