WhatsApp now enables you to send PDF files to your contacts

After a long wait and the final fix has come to the stable version of WhatsApp. You can now send and receive documents on your Android and iOS devices.  You can only use this feature if both users are on v2.12.493. In order to add that particular “Document” icon, something had to be removed. What WhatsApp did was changing the previously available “Photo” and “Video” into Camera itself. The app will prompt if you want to take a photo or shoot a video the moment you tap on the “Camera” icon.

It won’t take too long for WhatsApp to lift the restriction from PDF only to plenty of other file types as well. For the users of WeChat and Telegram, I know this is nothing new for you guys but we all know that we Malaysians use WhatsApp primarily to any other social messaging applications. Agree? 🙂
