How many of you have heard of Wiko Mobile? Well, we haven’t heard of them before until we ended up doing some research about them. They’ve started being active since 2011 which makes it 4 years old. Founded and started manufacturing in France while now the phones are being manufactured in China. Wiko Mobile is the 2nd in distribution in France with over 7 million of users in Europe! We can’t believe that we have never heard of such established brand globally. Based on GFK’s May 2015 statistics, 1 Wiko phone is being sold every 15 seconds!

It all started with their model Rainbow which is the number 1 product sold online in France for the year 2014. Next, came their 3G phone with the name Goa which costs below 50 Euros, also ranked 1st being the best sold product online and 2nd best sold product in retails for the year 2015.

More and more smartphones such as Kite came up as the 1st 4G smartphone under the price range of 100 Euros. Wiko Wax is the first phone to collaborate and came with Nvidia’s platform.  Wiko Highway is their first Octa core smartphone while Highway Pure is their slimmest ever 4G smartphone as thin as only 5.1mm. They have a very unique smartphone known as Wiko Fever for being the coolest 4G smartphone ever. First thing that came up to our minds will be about the screen itself, but the best part of this smartphone is that it glows in the dark! That’s something new and unique for sure.

Wiko has decided to venture into Malaysian market. This is definitely a great move as most chinese smartphone manufacturers have ventured here and some being extremely successful while some being terrible knock out. Let’s enjoy the touch of French “flava” in Malaysia now rather than having the same manufacturers competing with similar concept and very minimum stand-out uniqueness.

Wiko Malaysia is proud to present three of their outstanding lineups, Highway Pure, Fever and Lenny 2. We are going to focus on the Wiko Fever for now as we find it the most interesting and must-try- phone at the moment.

Wiko Fever features a 5.2-inch Full HD with IPS display technology resulting in a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 424ppi. This smartphone has a premium 2.5D curved glass design on the front with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection. The back has a leather finish with metal sides which makes the Wiko Fever look attractive, feel premium and classy.

Under the hood, you will find a Mediatek MT6753 Octa core processor with the graphics powered by Mali-T720 for great gaming experience. Paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, you will barely notice any lag while using Wiko Fever. If you feel that 32GB of storage space is insufficient, don’t worry too much as you still get the option to expand it via micro SD card slot up to 64GB.

The camera experience doesn’t lack either as it comes with a 13 Megapixel sensor on the back while a 5MP shooter for selfie lovers on the front. Do take note that both front and back has LED flash, which makes taking selfies during low-light condition a greater experience.

The Wiko Fever is a 4G LTE enabled smartphone with the SIM selection being micro SIM and Dual SIM with Dual Standby. This smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and the possibility of getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow is pretty high.

Last but not least, the battery capacity of Wiko Fever is 2900 mAh which is good and able to last you throughout the day. Heading to the glow in the dark feature. This works as the usual bezels of metal sides are usually shiny. Wiko have added glowing material on every possible edges which makes it pretty handy to locate your phone during dark environments

Wiko Fever is retailing at RM799 and comes with a 1 year warranty. The box packaging the Wiko Malaysia provides will come with original screen protector and back case together with the compulsory accessories such as earphones and charger.
