WeChat announces WeChat 5.4 for Android users! The latest version is now available for download on Google Play.
WeChat 5.4 for Android further enriches users’ social communication experience with four exciting new features, including a sleek new user interface; enhancing WeChat’s fun, innovative, all-in-one platform! The clean interface features four frequently used icons (Chats, Contacts, Discover and Me) placed conveniently at the bottom of the screen, ensuring easy access and a smooth user experience.

- Last Read Message Bookmark: After receiving 10 or more unread messages, you will receive a “New Messages” notification which will take you directly to your new messages.
- New Navigation and “Me” Tab: The new user-interface displays a 4-Tab Menu, including a “Me” tab that allows you to easily adjust your account, privacy settings and customize your WeChat experience.
- Improved Search: The upgraded search bar lets you find any message with ease. You can even search through your “tags”!
- LinkedIn Connect: Sync your LinkedIn account to add your professional contacts as WeChat friends!
