OnePlus is set to hire General Manager based in Malaysia as this vacancy can be found on their career page on Oneplus.net. This indicates that pretty soon we Malaysians will be getting to own a One Plus One with Cyanogenmod 11S instead of the one imported from China which comes with Color OS. This also means that once OnePlus has set up their office in Malaysia which of course starts with the hiring of the General Manager followed by rest of the team and service centers of course. As many of us were concerned with the lack of after sales support once imported set is purchased via local distributors, with OnePlus coming to Malaysia, this problem is considered fixed as you can then claim local warranty from OnePlus Malaysia itself!

We could expect both the 16GB and 64GB variant to hit the Malaysian shores with a decent pricing to be set of course with already being imported sets to be priced anything from the range of RM1000 – RM1300, the Color OS sets of course with the option of local distributors offering the service of flashing to Cyanogenmod 11S for free.

How excited are you Malaysians? I am super excited as finally will get the OnePlus One Sand Black 64GB variant the very moment its available officially.

Oh, and if you think you have the potential to be a General Manager for OnePlus Malaysia, why not give it a shot and apply for the job here.
