Earlier today during the Lenovo S850 launch event that I attended, I got to know that fashion now takes place even on a smartphone as this smartphone is absolutely gorgeous and stylish just the way you would want it to be. It’s main highlight is the all-glass exterior which adds premium and class to the Lenovo S850. It has a wonderful metal finishing on the sides which blends nicely with the glass front and back. The Lenovo logo at the back of the phone lights up if there are any calls or notifications unattended which looks pretty awesome and something new. Lenovo Malaysia also announced its partnership with Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia ( BCWA ) and kick started the campaign by donating RM10 for each set of Lenovo S850 sold until the 1000th set. The Lenovo S850 comes with a 5.0-inch IPS display with the resolution of 1280×720 which certifies the display as HD. Under the hood, you have a Mtk 6582 Quad core processor powering the smartphone clocked at 1.3GHz which gives you a decent performance and less laggy user experience. You get 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage made available.No micro SD slot is available for storage expansion but with all the free could storage services available out there, I doubt anyone actually cares about it so much.
When it comes to the camera, Lenovo always been very generous and the S850 is not left out too as the rear main camera comes with 13MP while the front selfie camera comes at 5MP, Tested the camera and it seems pretty snappy and good quality images can be expected on both sides. The Lenovo S850 supports dual SIM with dual standby and comes in the form of micro SIM.
Lastly, the battery capacity is set at 2150mAh and standby time could reach up to 17 days while the talk time can last roughly about 25 hours. The phone is considerably slim in shape as the thickness is only 8.2mm. The Lenovo S850 will be made available in three different colors, you have Pink, Dark Blue, and White.
