Yes, you have read it correctly. The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy K Zoom which was officially announced about two months ago will be made available in less than two weeks and to be exact on the 21st of June, Samsung Malaysia will be making the Shimmery White color available for purchase at all Samsung Experience Stores alongside authorized dealers, followed by the Charcoal Black color which will be eventually be made for purchase starting from 26th of June. And as the title says, Samsung has set the SRP for the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom at RM1699 which is a fantastic price despite all the great things you could capture with the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom’s 20.7MP camera and 10x Optical Zoom alongside phone call capability, what else you need to make your life much convenient rather than getting a separate camera and a phone which now you can have a smartphone paired with a marvelous DSLR like camera, a hefty cost could be saved up and makes me to think hard ” why is the retail price made cheaper than I have expected it to cost?” I presume in order to make the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom a successful successor of the initially introduced elder brother Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom which did not manage to capture people attention as much as Samsung would have expected, now via the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, I can definitely assure their sales would be boosted with the effort Samsung has put into the camera section of the device.
Before I forget, another cool creation from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Life app, which is really happening as far that I know and quite unsure how it is outside Malaysia, but over here you get loads of freebies!! Yes, from movie tickets, to free Starbucks coffee or Boost juice, and lots more. Oh, my point is if you purchase the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, freebies up to RM1500 is up for grabs. Of course these are different freebies and it comes in the form of applications for your device which could be even free cloud storage, free The Star newspaper subscription, or even free Trend Micro Mobile security. Below image shows how and what it simply means by freebies worth RM1500.
Looking for the detailed specification? Head over to my previous post here, and please take note that the version made available here in Malaysia is HDSPA+ version and not the 4G LTE version.
What are your thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom? Is it the best ever camera in a smartphone made available till date on Android platform, or maybe even on all platforms?
