According to Sammobile, looks like users of the International version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (N9005) the one powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor in Poland, have started to get official update of the latest Android operating system, surprisingly before the US users.
Based on users from Poland, the update appeared while they were randomly checking for updates via Kies which shows an official update to the KitKat version with the build number of N9005XXUENA6, which is the exact version came out together with the test build for the Samsung Galaxy S4 which i talked about here. Based on that, it was already nearing a very stable build which lead Samsung to officially release their KitKat build to the Galaxy Note 3 users first.
For those who are outside Poland, be patient as the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update will be coming towards you as soon as possible, which i reckon would take about 1-2 months to reach to most of countries. If you’re impatient, no worries as you can update manually without voiding your warranty, as it is official, by downloading the firmware from registering yourself at Sammobile. I have explained briefly how to update firmwares manually here.
