Few leaked photos have been spotted by iRimas, a member of XDA forum which shows us some live images of how the upcoming smartphone Sony D6503 would actually look like once it is available officially. Based on the images, it looks identical to the Xperia Z1, except for the bezel which I think looks much thinner and would possibly look slightly bigger screen than the 5-inch Xperia Z1 and one more noticeable change is the lanyard space, which differs from the Xperia Z1 as this one is placed on the left instead of the right side.
Well, I would reckon this device as a successor to the Xperia ZL rather than claiming this smartphone as the Xperia Z2. The reason is simply because of the codename,as the Xperia ZL’s codenames are C6502, C6506 and C6503 and for the Xperia Z1, the codenames are C6903, C6902, and C6906. What I am trying to prove is that, only the alphabet have changed but the numbering are pretty similar which made me assume as such.
No other informations have been leaked especially those related towards the specifications. But I would reckon that this device would still spot a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, and possibly the same 20.7MP main camera. I personally feel that Sony’s smartphone design are exceptionally beautiful with premium looks and high quality materials used to forge a perfect looking smartphone. Their idea of introducing aluminium side bezels have actually turned out to be a brilliant one despite holding it in your hands really gives you a great feeling of satisfaction of paying a great amount of money.
Are you excited regarding this new smartphone from Sony? What would you expect Sony to include on this one?
