Some of you would have realized that Lenovo have delivered great quality Notebooks with them now venturing themselves into mobile phone industry and becoming much popular with their flagship Android device, the Lenovo K900 which featured Intel’s dual core processor chipset Intel Atom Z2580 which outran most benchmark scores of ARM 7 quad core processors. But most of us would have totally forgotten that Lenovo still have not released any Android device with LTE connectivity, but don’t worry too much as they are releasing their first 4G LTE enabled Android smartphone to be reaching the markets of most Asian countries that Lenovo have sold their phones before.
According to the source, this LTE capable device from Lenovo will be known as Vibe Z featuring some exciting specifications such as 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS screen with 400ppi, under the hood, it is powered by none other than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, 13MP main camera with an amazing f/1.3 aperture and a 5MP front shooter for video calls and ‘selfies’. It is believed that this phone is only 7.9mm when it come to thickness, which is quite slim to fit into your pocket with ease.
This device would be running on Android 4.3, quite sad that it wouldn’t feature the Android 4.4 KitKat, but don”t have to worry much as future updates will take place in order to replace with the latest OS. Also, their skin over UI would not feature a app drawer which most of us would actually prefer to have it, but we don’t have to think about it too much as we know there are alternatives such as Nova and Apex launchers available out there.
The Lenovo Vibe Z will be reaching the shores of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines around February with the price tag estimated to be around $549 (RM1804) so probably the RRP in Malaysia would be around RM1799.
