Last week Sony released official Android 4.3 Jellybean update for the Sony Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra, which made most of the users of Xperia Z frustrated as it was the flagship phone when it was released no too long ago, and priority was expected by the users of the Z series to get the Android 4.3 update before the newly born Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra.
Sony had been listening to you guys as they officially started to push updates for the Sony Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, and the Xperia Tablet Z WiFi and also the LTE version. So far users from China have confirmed they started to receive the OTA update, and as for Malaysia no sign of it yet as once China gets it’s update, we usually get few days after or even the following week. You can either patiently wait for the notification of software update to appear or keep “spamming” the software update button to satisfy yourself 😛
Okay now to the changelog of the update which is exactly the same that i mentioned in my previous post of Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra gets Android 4.3. In addition to that , this update also features an updated Battery STAMINA Mode with new User Interface and more options to get much lengthy battery life. And as for the Xperia Tablet Z users, there is a new user control called “Restricted Profiles” which enables you create a seperate space which is much secured with individual allocated local storage, home screens, widgets and also settings.
