Today, Samsung introduced the upgraded model of Galaxy Core(GC) , named Galaxy Core Advance(GCA) which has pretty good upgraded features. Galaxy Core Advance features a 4.7” TFT touchscreen with 199 pixel per inch which makes it to have a bigger screen compared to the Galaxy Core which has 4.3” screen but with later pixel count of 217 pixel per inch, however the resolution remains the same with 480×800.
Some additional features that vary from both these devices are GCA with a later version of Android 4.2.2 compared to the 4.1.2, GPS with GLONASS which GC only has GPS, 2000 mAh battery vs the 1800 mAh , and NFC which lacks in the GC clearly makes GCA a much better version in all aspects. It is also noticeable that the GCA has a dedicated physical button for voice recorder and camera which is something new from Samsung, possibly their next high end devices might feature this dedicated physical buttons as well?
Galaxy Core Advance has a premium design with Soft Feel coated on the back cover which gives you a nice feel while holding the device. A nicely designed physical keys similar to the one featured on Samsung Galaxy S4 Active which has been a key feature of sale in terms of looks. Camera remains at 5MP with LED flash with the front shooter remains at VGA quality, internal storage is the same as well with 8GB but not to worry as its microSD slot still remains.
This device comes in Deep Blue and Pearl White colors, and the date of availability will be around Q1 of next year which might differ by country. Would you get this device once it is launched in your country? I would rate this device as a low-end product with a very premium outlook, so for those who has a tight budget, you could actually consider getting this if the price is right.
