I am sure you have heard Chromebook before as its pretty common these days and even Dell joins the Chromebook family which i talked about previously here. Today, LG announced that they will be unveiling the first ever Chromebase which means an all in one computer which runs on Google Chrome Operating System at CES 2014(International Consumer Electronics Show) which will take place next month.
The LG Chromebase works exactly the same as the Chromebook where it is a simple yet powerful device which comes with few well known Google applications such as the Gmail, Drive, Search, Maps, Youtube, Play or Google+ Hangouts. This OS even has its built-in security without you having to worry of getting an anti-virus at worst case scenario.
The LG Chromebase Specifications :-
– Processor: Intel® Celeron® CPU
– Operating System: Chrome OS
– Display: 21.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS
– Memory: 2 GB
– Storage: 16GB iSSD
– Ports: HDMI-in, USB 2.0 x3, USB 3.0 x1, LAN

What do you think of this new Desktop which runs on Chrome OS and not the common Windows or Mac OS, would this be a successful product, would the sales for this Chromebase be better than the Chromebook? Lets just wait and see how it performs during the CES 2014.
