According to source Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia(BRIM) application for the year 2014 will be open starting on this upcoming Monday the 23rd till the 31st of January next year, announced by the finance minster in a press conference yesterday.
Based on the press conference, those who have already registered previously for the BR1M would not need to worry of re-registering but it compulsary to update your personal informations including address of residence, family members information and also your account number.
To those who are going to be a first timer to register for BR1M, you can do it via online, or manually by filling up the form that you can obtain from Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri(LHDN) and Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat, or even you could download the form via LHDN website at www.hasil.gov.my . For your info, BR1M 2014 payment would be for those who are earning a monthly salary of RM3000 and below would be getting an upgraded amount of RM650 from RM500 previously. And for those who are single and aged 21 and above with monthly salary below RM2000 would be getting an extra RM50 to the previous RM250 amount with a total of RM300.
In addition, in association with Insurans Takaful Berkelompok Rakyat 1Malaysia or i-BR1M worth of RM50 would be given to the household which covers up to RM30000 in case of death or permanent disability takes place.
Lastly for senior citizens who are aged 60 and above and have nobody to rely on or rather staying alone would be getting an increased amount of RM650 compared to previous BR1M which was RM500.
